There are many occasions in which an unorthodox use of the bar can make a passage much simpler to play. 

It is worth practicing these techniques so that you can apply them if the opportunity arises.
Here are a couple of examples.

In Fig. 1. Notice how the first finger is playing at the 7th fret on the base string and on the 6th fret on the treble string. It is the best way to reach the A sharp (a passage of Giuliani’s Rossiniana N.1).

Fig. 2. In this example the E sharp is almost impossible to play unless you use the squint bar. This is part of one of the Valses Poéticos by Granados.

CEJILLAS INUSUALES

Hay muchas ocasiones en las que el uso poco ortodoxo de la cejilla hace que un pasaje de música sea mas fácil de tocar.
Vale la pena practicar estas técnicas para poder aplicarlas cuando aparece la oportunidad.
Aquí van un par de ejemplos.

Ej.1. Fijaos cómo el dedo 1 está pisando en el traste 7 en el bajo y el traste 6 en la primera cuerda. Es la mejor manera de llegar al La sostenido (es un pasaje de la Rossiniana n.1 de Giuliani).
Ej. 2. En este ejemplo el Mi sostenido es casi imposible de tocar si no se usa la cejilla torcida. Estos compases son parte de uno de los Valses Poéticos de Granados.
